Study Groups
As part of its learned society activities the Institution supports Study Groups which allow those interested in particular topics to meet and debate issues related to structural engineering. The Study Groups fall under the auspices of the Institution`s Engineering Practice Committee which appoints their convenors.
Membership of each Study Group is open to all those with an interest in the particular subject and is not limited to members of the Institution. Each Group is free to decide its own mode of operation, including the frequency, type and location of meetings.
