Research Fund
The Institution considers research to be vital in securing future advances in the practice of Structural Engineering and thus seeks to support those undertaking research in this field and those involved in the dissemination of results. The Institution's Research Fund was launched in 1993 to support this work Current initiatives supported by the Research Fund include The Young Researchers Conference and Grants for Young Researchers. Funding has previously been made available to individuals and to projects securing financial support from Government.
The Research Fund relies heavily on contributions from members. However an increase in the level of donations will enable the Institution to support a greater number of deserving proposals.
The Fund is administered by the Research Panel. For further information, contact Ben Cresswell Riol.
